Laugh Factory Snippets

Every once in awhile I go through the absolutely massive database of laugh factory clips of all the different comedians who perform there. You could watch their channel for hours and hours. Today I decided to pick a few for this post that I found enjoyable, so, enjoy!

Dan talks about his past experience as a teacher:

Greg talks about his kids think they are cool.

Esau McGraw talks about his young uncle.

Hope you laughed!

More Vine Flavors

Random Vine day! Currently searching for random folks on Vine that make me laugh. If you’re ever bored as hell, not doin a damn thing ( well first you should listen to this song: Crudbump – “I Don’t Do Shit” ) then you can just search around on Vine for an hour or six. It’s what Crudbump would do. There’s so many Viners that are funny, I’ll just have to choose three and do some more vine flavors later on. This first one is a young fellow, which seems to be the majority of Viners, for obvious reasons.

Kitchen Fun

This is how you feel right now if you are at work.

Logan Paul. You quite possibly have already heard of Logan cause he’s been on a couple TV commercials. He spends his time doing what boys do, and vining it all.

Embarassing his brother.

Being wasteful.

Being absolutely Ridiculous.

There are some older fellows who participate on Vine as well I’ve found. This guy is a trucker.

Good Morning.

Trucker Testament.

No time for that.

We’ll check out some more viners another day, until then, keep on truckin!

Jordan Schlansky

Jordan Schlansky is a curious character. That’s just the thing though, a character, maybe. Nobody is real sure if he is really being himself when he is on camera with Conan O’ Brien, or if he is simply playing a character. It is kind of hard to tell because there are people like him in the real world. Silent, confident, and mildly arrogant, Jordan brings joy to many who watch the Conan segments he stars in. Usually not wanting to be on camera at all. Here’s a couple of hilarious examples:

In this segment Conan confronts Jordan about spending company money on an expensive espresso machine.

Conan noticed how unorganized Jordan was and makes him clean his office:

To see all of Jordan’s fun segments, go here:

There you will also find the brand new  “Jordan Schlansky Generator”, which produces random quotes from the segments he was in, quite hilarious.

Let’s check out some Funny Or Die stuff shall we? I’m pretty sure if you’re reading this you know what FOD is, if not then you will probably not stop visiting the site until your old, crinkly fingers can’t click-a-da mousey no mo. But by then we’ll have chips in our head so whatevs.

SO, FOD was founded by Will Ferrell and “Gary Sanchez Productions” (which is Adam McKay’s company). The idea (by Michael Kvamme) is the readers read an article, or watch a video and vote that it’s “funny” or they can click “die”. If enough people click “die” that particular piece goes to the crypt. If you find the crypt, don’t expect to see anything funny.

They have re-occuring things or series some with unknowns and some with well knowns such as “Between Two Ferns” with Zach Galifianakis. Here’s a taste:

Zach has done many great ones, including an episode with President Obama. FOD also does a ton of original material. This next video is one of the greatest ever. It stars Will himself and it was the very first FOD video I ever saw. Pay attention to where his opponent comes from. Instant classic.

One of my favorite things they do weekly is the “Greatest GIFS of All Time of the Week”. It’s a good 3-7 minute break from your work day, depending on how much times you re-watch some of them because of genuine horrification or hilarity. Here are a couple examples:

Peace, Love, and Hilarity,

Make Me Laugh

There’s an old school show I stumbled upon while surfing the net when I was supposed to be doing something else. It was called “Make Me Laugh“. So I started sifting through the videos. The premise of the show is they bring someone up from the studio audience, and the comedians have to try to make the person laugh in a minute. For every second that they don’t laugh, they get $1. I would really like to see this show come back today, for two reasons. The high caliber group of modern comedians we have, and what they will let people get away with on tv these days. I think it would prove quite hilarious. Anywho here’s some of it to check out and see if you agree with me. One thing I noticed is when people are trying not to laugh they make some weird faces.

This video is a compilation of John DeBellis trying to make folks laugh with his stand-up.

Apparently there’s was a really old version and then a version from the 90’s on Comedy Central. Here’s a really old episode where they try to make Frank zappa laugh!

Frank is kind of creepy haha. Finally here is Howie Mandel taking a crack at it!

Well hope you enjoyed a trip back in time! Don’t you think this show with today’s comedians would be amazing?

Joey Diaz – Real s***!

Joey Diaz is a Cuban American (born in Havana) who grew up in North Bergen, New Jersey. On his website BIO, it explains how when he was in a Denver, CO correctional facility in 1988, he would do standup between the movies they would watch. That’s when he realized he had what it takes. The thing that stands out about Joey Diaz is his storytelling. The way the audience is engaged at a a Joey “Coco” Diaz show is like no other. He tells them very well and very real. There is no shortage of stories and it doesn’t seem like there ever will be. He hosts his own podcast as well entitled “The Church of What’s Happening Now”. He has had acting parts in “Grudge Match” and “Taxi”.

Comedy Central premiered a show called “This Is Not Happening” on January 22nd of this year, hosted by another stand-up comic Ari Shaffir. This show is the perfect platform for Joey Diaz: a bunch of comics telling true stories. Joey has been on the show 3 times already because of his infectious style and stories. When you listen to Joey you experience a range of emotions, not just laughter.

In this story Joey talks about his mother’s friend and life lessons.

This story is about a fight in the streets of New York.

In closing Joey talks about the effects of Heroin.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed these, and learned something too.
