Improv with Nerd Appeal!
Think nerds can’t be funny? Let STEMprov invalidate your hypothesis with some improvised data. Come join us as we bring you an unscripted, interactive show that explores STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Best part is that you, the audience, will be able to nerd out and take part with the STEMprov app developed specially for the show!
Gustavo Meza-Cuadra - Lover of physics and the earth. Atom 1 says to Atom 2: I lost an electron! Atom 2 responds: Wait, are you positive?
Blake Miller - My first passion is mathematics for its ability to define the nature and ineffable beauties of the universe. However, nearly every idea or discovery brought forth by the scientific community arouses my...err wonder.
Shihan Qu - Between selling magnet balls and getting sued by the government, Shihan Qu spends his spare time plotting to take over the world. His background is in mechanical engineering.
Joe Teynor - Joe is a forensic accountant and falls somewhere in between the T and the M on the STEM spectrum. He works with forensic technology as well as various data analytical/statistical approaches techniques to solve complex financial situations.
Crystal Preston-Watson - Makes the sweet moves as a Quality Assurance Engineer by day, maker of dank cat memes at night.
Pam Russell - Pam dropped out of a math PhD program because she wanted to live like an adult. She is now a computational biologist at CU medical school, where she writes code to search for meaning in large piles of data. Ask her about her favorite RNA molecule.
Chris Emerson - Chris hopes to one day create a program that will automate his job away.
