Lady bits presents best of the thriving Denver comedy scene. Come see a hand-picked line up of today’s rising stars including a very special headliner -Christie Buchele and Feature Rachel Weeks. Host: Jillian Kudrycki along with Pamela Maass and Arielle Kaplan.

Headliner:  Christie Buchele (a Top Finalist in the 2016 Comedy Works New Faces Contest) is a standup comic from Denver, Colorado. Christie made a name for herself by the heart-wrenching and hilarious realities of being a woman with a disability. Christie has been featured on Viceland’s, Flophouse and Hidden America with Jonah Ray and has performed at both the Crom Comedy Festival in Omaha, Nebraska and Denver’s own High Plains Comedy Festival and Hell Yes Fest in New Orleans. Christie co-hosts a witty relationship advice podcast, Empty Girlfriend which earned best Comedy Podcast by Westword Magazine. Christie is also 1/4th of the comedy group Pussy Bros which works to showcase women in comedy.

Feature:  Rachel Weeks (a Top Finalist in 2016 Comedy Works New Faces Contest) is a Denver-based comedian, writer, and actor from the western suburbs of Chicago. She has appeared on Hidden America with Jonah Ray and Mortified: Live in Chicago. In addition, she has been featured on High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver, Crom in Omaha, Beast Village in Des Moines, and Floodwater in Iowa City. While Rachel has only been a member of the Denver comedy scene a short time—her comedy roots were planted in Des Moines—she has already built a reputation as a strong, young performer to watch.
