This class session runs 7:00 – 9:45 PM on Monday evenings, Mon 5/6 – Mon 6/24.  No class Mon 5/27 for Memorial Day Weekend.  Classes will be held at the Voodoo Comedy theater space, 1260 22nd St, Denver, CO 80205.

You will have a Student Showcase performance the week following your final class! This will take place on Mon 7/1 at Voodoo Comedy, 1260 22nd Street, Denver, CO 80205.

In Level 201, you will begin to work with your fellow improvisers and discover the joy of creating scenes together. You’ll learn how to construct honest and believable characters, environments, and scene flows. You’ll experiment with focus and listening. Most of all, you’ll have FUN!  Class sessions run seven weeks, with a Student Showcase performance following the end of the session.

Instructor: Griffen Davis attended Colorado Mesa University with a focus on Acting/Directing. During his time there he co-founded the improv club and soon took over as lead coach with a leaning towards short form. It wasn’t until he moved to Denver and got involved with Voodoo that he realized that he didn’t know what he was talking about. Griffen has been with Voodoo since 2014, attended all 5 levels (some more than once!), is a part of several regular teams including Makeshift Shakespeare and Pro Play, and is the House Manager in his free time. He’s eager to teach what he knows and more eager to learn what you’re willing to share.
