About Towel Play

In the tradition of Bill Murray, John Candy, and Stephen Colbert, comes Towel Play performing the most legendary form in improvised comedy, Del Close’s Harold. Enjoy Voodoo Comedy Playhouse’s newest house team as they conjure up the spirits of this revered form.


About Broad Squad

Broad Squad is a group of sweet and crass women who will make you laugh! These broads observe life as women and humans…the good, the bad, and the hilarious. They perform an improv set sparked from audience inquiries. Ask them anything. They’ll address your questions and clarify the mysteries of being a WOMAN.

What do you get when you wear Jorts to a Juice Party? Hairstyles of the Damned. The most beloved grad classes (Jorts and Juice Party) are joining forces to tackle the Harold and make you laugh.

CHAOS

Have you ever wanted a look inside the minds of some stressed out college students? Well look no further! You have found CHAOS!

These things combined make up CHAOS the University of Northern Colorado’s resident improv troupe. CHAOS has been bringing laughter and joy to the students of UNC for nearly 15 years! The group is made up of a constantly changing group of UNC students. Every year the team changed so every year is going to be new and exciting! CHAOS performs a wide variety of improv from short form games, such as party quirks, to long form structures, such as a Harold. CHAOS can be seen performing every other sunday at UNC. Some places the CHAOS has performed include, High School after proms, The Bovine Metropolis Theater, UNC, The Voodoo Comedy Playhouse, and at The Del CLose Marathon in New York City. We hope to have some fun and share some laughs!

The Laboratory: Standup Comedy Open Mic (FREE SHOW!)

The Laboratory is a free comedy open mic for performers of all skill levels, from pros to first timers. Experiment with your creativity and gather data to improve your skills, or simply sit back and enjoy the show at the only open mic in Colorado at a bonafide comedy club. Enjoy the company of performers with comedic backgrounds ranging from stand up, to sketch, to improvising, to working in a warehouse down at the docks. Sign up at 9:30pm, and the show runs from 10pm to midnight. Bring your friends and be ready to laugh!

About the host:
Nicholai Roscoe is a comic from Boston, who found the ocean deeply unsettling and moved to the mountains. He achieved a degree in Neuroscience in order to annoy people at parties and amass a large dept. It has been said he is only happy with a microphone in his hands, but his friends know that he is never happy. He has performed in dive bars, at dog park, in a bus, and at the famous Comedy Studio and Comedy Works.
