With the group Governor Jack, he performed at festivals in Denver, Austin, New York City, Detroit, Omaha, and elsewhere while performing with and learning from amazing improvisers from theatres such as iO, Annoyance, UCB, and Second City. In addition to being fun, Asa believes improv can also be a tool for exploring and healing the mind. Asa is part robot and his CPU is powered by pizza, beer, and ice cream.

Instructor: Amanda Eckert
Amanda Eckert‘s quick and whirlwind romance with improv comedy started in 2014 when she began classes at Denver’s own Voodoo Comedy Playhouse. She’s had the opportunity to learn and grow within the Denver improv comedy community, learning from local bests as well as having the opportunity to workshop from superstars from the biggest theaters like UCB and iO. Amanda has had the privilege to be part of some excellent shows performing in theaters all around Denver including The Reel World and Hitchcocktails and has been part of Voodoo’s very own house team, Towel Play. When she’s not on a stage, you can find her spending time in the mountains. Amanda feels improv can play a role in any aspect of life and is truly passionate about this form of comedy. She couldn’t be more excited about teaching that to others.
