Form Workshop With Cal DeBruyne

Auditions Saturday October 27th, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Auditions are FREE.
IF SELECTED, workshops are $15/person per workshop.
Workshops begin Saturday November 3rd 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM and run for eight weeks.
TO SIGN UP, please email Cal at cjdebruyne@gmail.com.
This workshop is designed to give improvisors the confidence and know-how to create their own forms. Cal will teach tried and proven improv forms from the past as well as teach how we can tap in to our own experiences, environment and love of other artistic forms to create something unique for the performer and audience.

At the end of each eight week cycle your class will have created two or more unique improv forms. Cal is willing to continue working with your group after the eight week session. And if your group's form is unique and fun it has a great chance of getting a regular performing spot at the Voodoo comedy playhouse.

Cal has studied, performed and coached at iO Chicago, Annoyance, Comedy Sports Spokane, University of Montana, the Virginia City Brewery Follies, the Bovine Metropolis and the Voodoo Comedy Playhouse. He loves form and how it can give our improv shows a fulfilling arc. He also believes in the power of positive feedback; be prepared to receive tough notes without feeling bullied.
